What's worse?
The NSA, whenever they want, and without a warrant, can listen to any darned call or electronic communication that they want. No reason needed. No accountability. Ripe for political abuse.
Or, that the NSA only really took a hard look at a grand total of 300 phone calls last year.
As someone else said: Tyranny, or idiotocracy?
And, if all this infrastructure, all this intrusive observation, all this unconstitutional lawlessness only resulted in the identification of 300 measly suspicious phone calls that rose to the level of needing monitoring, does the risk/reward equation justify the costs?
Clearly, absolutely not.
