 From an era when the US built real he-man strategic bombers, the Convair B-36 Peacemaker.

 I'd surely make peace if I saw that thing flying my way with a full load of ordnance.  And I seem to recognize Col. Potter from MASH as the flight engineer, do I not?

    While I can't disagree, there was something elegant about the B-58, and General Stewart didn't make a movie about it. (I'm picking favorites here)

      I'll have to take a closer look at that B-58, but both are some great flying machines.
