Union workers at Olin stupidly screw their members out of a job, and Alton Illinois loses it's second largest employer. At least the jobs will stay in the United States. Another loss for a blue state, and a gain for a red one.

Note that a major stumbling block for the union was the proposed elimination of a fifth week of vacation! Good God almighty. Now these idiots get 52 weeks of vacation, unpaid. May I note here that in my 20 plus years of working after college, I have never had more than two weeks of vacation, so naturally I find this attitude completely unbelievable.
