For this problem, I have one solution. Actually two. First, can you say ¨ private school? ¨ Second would be the real solution, which is a complete redo of the school system. This would involve firing all administrators, redefining the need for significant and clear disciple in the classroom to favor teachers and students who want to learn, and a reorganization of the law governing who has the responsibility for managing education. Perhaps also a reform school system where all trouble making students are sent, away from parents, to be schooled in a military style environment. Tough choices no matter how you look at it, but we certainly cannot continue as we are.

Will either happen? The first is up to you and can be done on an individual basis now, the second and more necessary change is up to all Americans to decide.
