It's at this time of year that the massive fig tree at my place puts on it's crop. This year has been a heavy one, so I snagged a bowl and got to picking.
Pretty quick I had that bowl filled up with figgy goodness, as you can see.
Then, the next step was to make some wild, weird fig jam, my favorite! It is just as great on French vanilla ice cream as it is on your morning toast. Thanks to Jennifer for whipping some up!
