At that price I may need to get one to test it out.c w swansonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02735507642689652780noreply@blogger.comBlogger6125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533651942397782565.post-23942520322244954412021-03-29T14:42:29.772-07:002021-03-29T14:42:29.772-07:00I bought one and threw it away. I could not get the little "bb" on the end of the wire to pass through the barrel. What we really like about it is the storage. The snake stays in its container until needed with the cable wrapped neatly around the case to ensure that it doesn’t get tied into knots while it is stored. The case also keeps the cleaning brush from grabbing fabric or poking you, and keeps the dirty mop away from other items in your range bag. It is much better than stowing the snake in the thin plastic box it was sold in. We really like our Real Avid cleaning mat because of the thought that they put into it – and the same goes for the Bore Boss.

https://www.hikingcampingandshooting.com/cleaning-supplies.htmlAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533651942397782565.post-14456881600136235902021-03-28T21:35:34.797-07:002021-03-28T21:35:34.797-07:00Yeah. The (fancy! shiny!) Otis system has calibers from .17-12 ga. in one relatively small package (oooh!!). If you can find a “used, like new” or “-good” one on Amazon, they can be had for under $30, which is the most I would pay for one. I did, however, find one on Everygunpart.com for !$17!! which was pretty exciting. Then came shipping, which was somehow not quite so thrilling. Still a good deal, though. I have found they don’t work as well as the traditional rod when it comes to cleaning really dirty cruddy barrels, like, say, a refurbished 1893 Turkish Mauser converted to 8mm. They just cannot be used to scrub. Ah well!
-JLMAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533651942397782565.post-88715115141582047812021-03-28T20:15:45.706-07:002021-03-28T20:15:45.706-07:00I use them, they work great.I use them, they work great.Randyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17874345390753022545noreply@blogger.com
