Not so bad if you get to wear a cowboy hat when you do them, and smell the hay.c w swansonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02735507642689652780noreply@blogger.comBlogger6125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533651942397782565.post-17158740318727048272022-10-30T14:38:45.525-07:002022-10-30T14:38:45.525-07:00My morning routine when I was in high school: Git ...My morning routine when I was in high school: Git up at 4:30 and put on coveralls. Go to the barn and drop a half bale of hay for the horses, check the pig feeders to make sure they were working while checking to make sure the auto waters were working. Stop by the chicken coup and spread a coffee can of feed while checking the auto water trough. Stop by the feed corral to check the water trough for the cows. I would have just enough time to get a shower before breakfast was served at 6am. I would get to do it all over again when I got home from school but I would be power washing out the hog barn and filling the auto feeders. The horses would get a scoop of feed and I would gather eggs and power wash the cement area of the chicken coup where the feeder was. I would also drop another can of feed into the feeder. I had 7 coveralls. I would put on a fresh set in the morning and re-use them in the afternoon but they would need to be washed after that. tsquaredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02737130316088634658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533651942397782565.post-19995053542157177482022-10-30T13:55:07.754-07:002022-10-30T13:55:07.754-07:00I'll be back at the ranch house keeping the be...I'll be back at the ranch house keeping the bed warm when she's done with her chores!<br />BubbaRAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533651942397782565.post-82997378162658814232022-10-30T10:39:48.440-07:002022-10-30T10:39:48.440-07:00Fine Business on the hat - too bad the horses got ...Fine Business on the hat - too bad the horses got to the hay firstAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533651942397782565.post-83440352171709967362022-10-30T10:38:39.627-07:002022-10-30T10:38:39.627-07:00Having a great cow dog(s) with you while you do yo...Having a great cow dog(s) with you while you do your chores gets you as close to Heaven on Earth as you're going to get.
