Fleas would hop in the water and drown. I know it works because I tried it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533651942397782565.post-88969988337254326612023-04-01T21:52:50.342-07:002023-04-01T21:52:50.342-07:00Never did make it out to see that. It was about $5/sq ft from Slice Recovery in Coquille OR, plus another $10 to install and finish. It turned out beautiful. The leaves on Myrtlewood trees are very similar to Bay Leaves and are very pungeunt in a Eucalyptis way. They will repel fleas if spread around pet beds and the local Indians used them for a variety of medicinal purposes.Philhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15695733883033137146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533651942397782565.post-53279464945627402562023-04-01T15:25:53.160-07:002023-04-01T15:25:53.160-07:00Have you been to a hardwood supplier lately ? His basement was full of burls he had sawn. Many of the best were Doug Fir. Some big (coffee table sized), some little (clock sized). He had both in his living room. I'm not sure what became of the burls aging in his basement, come to think of it. They were considered a fringe benefit of his job.

That sawmill no longer exists. The valley it was in is now full of wrecked pickups and marijuana grows.
I preferred the '70s.Elmonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533651942397782565.post-9415931274978673192023-04-01T09:35:02.313-07:002023-04-01T09:35:02.313-07:00There was/is? a shop in Boulder,CA that sold redwo...There was/is? a shop in Boulder,CA that sold redwood slabs.
