    2. The mountain is rumbling. Ain't got much to worry about that down here on The Gulf of America.

  3. I lived in SoCal for over 60yrs so I've seen a lot of these graphs. The ground is shaking all the time. While that graph looks like a lot of activity you have to compare it to what’s typical in that region. Could be lots O’activity or maybe not so much or just about right.

  4. You might want to move a little farther away from that stratovolcano of yours, remember Mount St Helens!

    1. A while back I called a geologist and asked what that red meant. She matter of fact told me it was probably the sound of magma moving around. !!!!!

  5. Bearing in mind it's only a laywoman's theory, but I think the Juan de Fuca plate has slid so far under the North American plate that the path/tunnel is almost laid for it to become a permanent part of us. I've been out here on the coast northwest of you for decades and have not felt a serious earthquake here. Yesterday evening I felt one sway and it was over. The quakes seem to have been MUCH quieter on that front than we'd been supposing they would be. I hope I didn't jinx us by mentioning it, but the moving lava notion seems to just about cover it for me. --nines
