And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
After being an owner of an in-ground pool for over 20 years, my opinion is that they are (like boats), "holes in the ground that you pour money into." And now, I can add, they are "holes in the ground that you drive your car into."
A neighbor had an illegal driving his truck through his yard this morning. He was on something and couldn't figure out how to get back to the street. I am surprised this did not happen.

SAN DIEGO, CA (KNSD) - A truck in San Diego made quite the splash on Friday afternoon. San Diego fire rescue says the grandparents were at the home of one of their children in the Allied Gardens neighborhood.
While the grandfather was unloading the pick-up truck with the grandmother still inside the vehicle, the truck started rolling backwards. They say it went down the hill, through a fence, and became completely submerged in the pool.
A bystander was able to break the window and rescue the woman, who was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. The homeowner was not home at the time of the crash.
What caused the truck to careen down the hill remains under investigation.
So much for the, "Yeah, it's a 4X4, it'll go through literally anything!! Never gets stuck!!!"
ReplyDeleteTried to drive a stick sift...
ReplyDeleteJake from State Farm will be right over to deny the claim
