And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

It's that season
Apple harvest from our old place in Herald
Grandfather's Apple Ranch - apple growing is in the family
I've been eating apples since my teeth grew in at (maybe) age 3. The fairly new variety called "Cosmic Crisp" is, hands down, the best in the entire world.
Cosmic Crisp is just a 'souped up' Honeycrisp. The flavor and texture of the Cosmic Crisp is all Honeycrisp. The Honeycrisp has been crossed with Enterprise apples which promotes late ripening and long shelf life for the Cosmic Crisp.
Just down the road from our old apple ranch, but we didn't get any apples this year at all. The Lord has provided abundantly by other means.
