And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Had leggings like that for X-country skiing, breaking trails in fresh powdery snow - yes they keep your legs nice & toasty & dry, when it's -20f.
Fuzzy chaps ain't just for looks. When it's windy and cold, horses gotta be worked, or there's a good reason to saddle up & go out, yeah, you're glad to be wearing something besides bare leather chaps.

I've done a lot of snowshoeing in cold, blustery weather and never thought of, or saw anyone, wearing these. But, seems like a good idea.
