And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Does a double shot of espresso count? I think it might.
I still can't get over some places legalizing psychedelic shrooms. I probably should make a bet on Polymarket one how long & where it'll be when someone ends up committing vehicular manslaughter or something worse cause they took a heroic dose.
Got to watch Reefer Madness in the third grade, under anti drug abuse program. Didn't fool any of us, but it was corny fun, some great acting. On the other hand the town detective, and police photographer, showed us true life photos of dead junkies and other gruesome photos, impressed me.
Actually, today, with the idiots legalizing marijuana, way too many folks indulge daily.
