And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

The Ultimate "Ultima Thule". When I retire, I should endeavor to journey to this exact spot, and take this exact picture. Now that would be adventure.
Ultima Thule is a Latin phrase meaning "farthest Thule," historically referring to a mythical, distant island beyond the borders of the known world. The picture is actually Carlita Bay, South Georgia off the southern tip of South America.
Is not Thule a US airbase with limited access? Or is there another Thule besides the one in Greenland?
