Friday Night Dinner: BBQ'ed ribs, a Black Manhattan, and Brussel Sprouts.

  6. Brussel Sprouts halved then fried in Olive Oil with a couple of quartered garlic cloves to go along with most any kind of grilled meat are a meal fit for a king, IMHO. Low heat or they'll burn. Burnt Sprouts are nasty.

    1. Yes, in all respects, except I'd like more garlic, please. But that's just me, yours would be fine. Caramelization, not carbonization is the key to cooking them. Most so-called cooks overcook and under season them so no wonder people despise them. The photo is a good guide. And, a little bacon or smoked ham would go a long way, too, but certainly not necessary.
