And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That small ceiling fan is not going to be enough with all that glass area, if the sun has any heat in it, and it's not going to be enough in the winter; even the best insulated glass. Of, course I guess if you can afford that house, in that location, with those glass wall, the architect will have designed some hidden air circulation to keep things tolerable.
and THAT was how our living room looked. Opposite a big fireplace, 6x6 foot double pane windows, overlooking a 30 mile valley. Everyone who stepped into it, a 20x60 foot living room, chairs, sofas, piano, stopped and had that "WOW!" look on their face. Many a winter night, watching the Wisconsin snow fly, roaring fire, cracking Hickory Nuts with Dad, 60 years ago...
Amen, brother. Nothin' better than sittin' by a good fire inside, lookin' out.....in January in Wisconsin. Loved it. 'Course, by late April it wasn't so much fun, but the first few weeks after the snow flew, dayum it was good. Especially with a snifter of well aged antifreeze.
Brandy in the sniffer by the fire. Or the wine skin, cross-country skiing in the moonlight, all those stars. Then roasting by the fire, drying off.. staring off into the distance, looking for shooting stars.
Excellent living space, until Junior gets his first sling shot.
