And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Had to teach one of my Heelers how to swim (he almost drowned when he fell off the dock the first time), after that couldn't keep him out of the water.
I have a heeler that loves to wade and will lay in any shallow creek to cool off, but absolutely will not go in any water above her butt. One I had before, couldn't keep him out of the water.
