And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
For many years I would camp in the back country of Yosemite. On the last day of my ten day outings I would go to the main valley to see whats going on.
I would wake early and throw a slab of bacon on the griddle. Then I'd wait and watch. One by one the others would sniff the air then wander like zombies looking for who is cooking. Worked every time. Like pod people newly hatched ambling to find their next victim.
