And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

While not the fastest color, yellow is still pretty quick
Dad had a dark green Road Runner. It was stupid quick and ended up in the salvage yard soon. A Dart Demon was the follow up car. The 318 in the Demon was mild compared to the 340 in the Road Runner.

ReplyDeleteWhen I got discharged from the USMC at Camp Pendelton in '69, there were a few of these beasts in the Las Flores parking lot.
