And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Just read an article that they are making a comeback because of the Fire ant. Evidently they now use them for food & the more ants the more horned toads.
I saw the same report Birdchaser did. All the poison we put out killed the red ants the Horned Toad used to eat but apparently they have adapted to eating fire ants and now in the Texas Hill county (where I grew up) Fire Ants are declining and Horned Toads are making a comeback.
