And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

One of the cats that live at our house is getting altogether too comfortable with the good life.
My little old blind & deaf dog is laying in the sun like someone ran her over. It's surprisingly cool on The Gulf of America this week, gonna take the week off & go fishing.
Just so you know, here in countries outside the USA we still call it the Gulf of Mexico. No one, not a soul, here in 'foreign' lands, not even us White skinned, English speakers, living in actual free countries, with free medical and health care, guaranteed living wage pension from age 65 on, police that do not carry guns, real freedom of speech .... have a modicum of fondness for your sitting president and his narcissistic and corrupt ways. Just because he wants it called the 'Golf of America' lol, doesn't mean we change anything. FYI, even Google Maps shows it as Gulf of Mexico, on every phone or computer screen outside the USA.
It pleases me that you look after your dog and that she is relaxed and happy.
