    2. I should reword that. I dint know RAF dolled up their aircraft.

    3. Yes but not in Britain. In Africa and Burma the regulations were relaxed or ignored. According to wikipedia RAF Squadron 112 was the first Allied unit to paint shark mouths on their aircraft some months before the Flying Tigers existed. The first shark mouths were painted on Luftwaffe Me110s.

  2. American P-40's flown by British pilots. Hundreds of them were flown by RAF pilots during the North African campaign.
