  1. A recreation of the Audi Type C streamliner of the late '30s capable of 236mph and an Audi R8 LMP Spyder from 2000. Audi had the recreation built from original drawings and R8s had finished 1-2-3 at LeMans in 2000 so they celebrated at the Montlhery Autodrome in France.

    1. I think it's the Montlhery Autodrome which was built in 1924. The banking is 54 degrees at its steepest compared to Daytona's 31 degrees.

  3. This was followed by the Auto Union Type 52 Schnellsportwagen and most recently the Auto Union Lucca. All were built by Crosthwaite and Gardiner in the UK. Both featured in recent issues of Octane (256 and 277). Incredible work. Steve_in_Ottawa
