And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I could be wrong, but to my eye, you're looking at a stack of Glocks. If you're wondering about which models or calibers, I can't help you.
This is just me but the top 4 pistols (and potentially the bottom one too) look to be "cowboy'd up" to an unnecessary degree. If you've got the money for colored barrels and custom paint on your pistols, I wonder how much ammo you've put through them in the last year? When was your last training class?
FWIW, I need to get into this century and put red dots on one or two of my pistols.
Tried those Holsun 507k optical sights - ended up removing them, we're faster with plain old Iron sights, and shoot tighter groups. Gave them to a friend, a fellow HP shooter.

The law does not appear to be an across-the-board ban on ownership of GLOCK pistols in private hands...YET. (See next year's "New and Improved" legislation.)
not a fan of any striker fired pistols really, much rather see/use a hammer fired one my self. yeah, I know how wonderful they are , but I still trust a hammer fired one over them. and at over 70 now, I can still put them inside a 4 inch circle at 25 yards all day with iron sights. first weapon I ever fired was a 1911 back when I was maybe 10, I think. yup, Dad's old Colt, it worked well back then and still does today. learned "point shooting" in the army a long time ago. still shoot that way today. don't use bullseye targets anyway. just 3by 5 cards. I do use scopes on all of my rifles though. ever since I was 45-50. the old gunsmith told me years ago to get scopes and stop missing with irons.
yeah, I love my little 22lr PPK. it a old West German made one. accurate as hell too. it it my second one as I lost my first one in the divorce. check out one of the "new" ones and found it lacking. just didn't feel like my older one at all.
As a boy running a trap line, I carried a .32 beretta. There was a pack of wild dogs raiding my traps. I liked the beretta because it fit in my back pocket. One morning, I found a dog in my trap. As I approached, the rest of the pack charged out of the brush. I fired one shot, and the pistol jammed. FTE. Luckily they ran. The one in the trap pulled free and ran too. When I got home, I examined the pistol, to find that pocket lint had gotten between the open top slide and barrel, causing the FTE.
I will never own a pistol with cuts, or open top slide again. My $2. (2 cents adjusted for inflation) FJF0351
Being an owner of a Glock pistol in the revered .45 ACP, The stack goes in ascending order of size. The top pistol is most likely a subcompact, then 2 compacts and 2 full size pistols.
For the record, I love the look and feel of 1911's but my carpel tunnel does not like the recoil of them. The Glock's recoil is more manageable for me. I don't care what you shoot as long as you like shooting it and it can get the job done.
What are they?
ReplyDeletePistols
DeletePlastic Old Guy. They are a lot of Plastic and some metal so it doesn't fall apart. Over revered and worshipped turd
