And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

I can think of a multitude of things this could be useful for. I need one.
Have two - the older design and the newer one - pictured above. New one has more torque, old one easier to use and has swappable rechargeable batteries. New one comes with a set of 12 2-inch long 1/4 hex bits. Both are really handy especially on inspection panels with lots of screws. Pro Tip: get a kit (Makita or Milwaukee) set of 1/4 hex drill bits bits when you get the LARGE kit of 1/4 hex bits. Check WOOT today (5/23) for better price ($73.50, I think)
I got one of these the last time CW posted it. It is beyond amazing. I must have three dozen manual screwdrivers that may as well be given to Goodwill since this amazing tool works fantastically.
I have several from the time when they were NiCad powered. They still run. This is one of those things useful enough, light enough, and well built enough that a good shop should have several. In addition to running nuts or screws, I have one specifically adapted to a lathe chuck key, another that runs the knee on my Bridgeport, and a third that has a square socket for machine vises. They all live with their respective machines. Hugely useful. Get at least one for each toolbox.
Gonna need some nut driver sockets with that for an aluminum storage shed I'm putting together shortly. May as well get it.
ReplyDeleteI just placed my order. Now we will see how well it works (should be a handy little tool).

DeleteI've had an electric screw driver for years, there are some jobs where it's a huge help!
