Workspace with a view

  1. Nope, I once got a promotion and a corner office with a view of Stone Mountain. My production went way down. I had maintenance help turn my desk around so I could get some work done.

    1. Agree. Id turn this into just a sitting room to immerse in the beauty. Put the home office somewhere else to get shit done so I can get to the sitting room.

    2. True. Plus the light reflections on the monitor are not acceptable.

    3. Had an office with a view similar to that. Wonderful!

  3. Yeah, I had a supervisor's cubicle in our lab that had a perfect river view. Too many times I'd find myself staring out, daydreaming of fishing. Ended up closing the blinds on a lot of days to keep me focused on work.....

  4. Needs a gun port in case the government thinks you're not taxed enough.

  5. I have one of those, but it is suburban, and the windows are only ceiling to wainscoating. FYI, airplanes, birds, cats, squirrels, and brunettes in bikinis are very distracting.

  6. Yeah, right. After an hour, you realize that 'one tree' is blocking the really great view, and simply cutting it down would really enhance the view. It begins to annoy you, leaning left then right, trying to see around it. Productivity falls off...

My view out the front window is to a small pond, with ducks.
    sigh...
