And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Our family's primary vehicle in the mid- to late 50's was a two-tone blue '56 Chevy Bel Air four door sedan. Then in the early 60's my mother got a two-tone green '56 Chevy Bel Air Station Wagon which is the car that I learned to drive.
Classic forever. I had a 4 door Bel Air in those exact colours. Full of love and lust for a young woman I sold the Chevrolet to get a deposit for a house. Here we are, years later, and I am a single man wishing I'd kept the Chevy and lost the wife. At least I have the memories ... of 8 miles a gallon, lol.
My favorite since my father bought one around 1958, I see this has modern air conditioning.

My folks bought a used 57 in the early 60s. We were poor and as a kid I was embarrassed to be seen it.
