And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
He had some of the most incredible saves. That crash at 16 seconds or so broke his arm, He went his typical route and had surgery, expecting to ride in a few weeks. post covid Spain fully Nationalized ALL medical and it showed for this. they set it slightly wrong (rods and pins were needed), then it took a while to heal at the cut, He tried to come back too soon, and was quite hurt again. He took the time for healing but as it was off, couldn't get strength back like he needed, and the Honda was trying to kill its riders (he was always top Honda, but wasn't winning) He finally went to the Mayo Clinic, they cut his arm apart yet again and rotated things back in line. He came back to more ridability issues and at one of his favorite tracks, had a massive save and gave the bike the bird. He left honda for far less money (told Honda to take his 'severance" and invest it in the team to fix their issues, and went to a satellite team with his brother. Health came back, wins were coming, and Ducati Factory team snatched him up. He won them the championship last year with several races left, which was lucky as he got taken out in a crash and missed the final races of the year. This year, the Factory is not doing well. His brother and the other Satellite teams are doing better, but not as well as Aprilia is this year. Big testing Monday, so we'll see who found anything. Next year, new Rules package (smaller engines, Pirelli tires instead of Michelin. No ride height/holeshot devices, limited aero). Big reset.
A man has to know his limitations. And his tires.
