I love these old guns, the feel, the weight and not a bit of plastic.

  3. S&W made lots of revolvers for Britain in both World Wars and the Model 10 in both 38-200 and .455 calibers

  4. That is an N frame revolver. Front sight looks modern not from back in the day.

  5. I’m not at home so can’t look in a book, but those appear to be British commercial proofs.

    1. Also, possibly the original 5-inch barrel was cut down and the modern front sight added.

      There's an excellent photo of the markings on the .38/200 British Service Revolver.
