And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I acquired a small RHD Japanese pickup truck a few years back. It was amazing how easy the transition to left hand was. All other controls are in the same spot. It helped that the truck was small. The biggest change was to learn not to pre-turn your right hand turns, putting incoming traffic in your blind spot. Otherwise, a hoot to drive!

ReplyDeleteI drive right hand cars from time to time. Shifting is OK. My issue is the turn signal lever is juxtaposed with the wipers on the steering column.
