And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I know! It's a shame pistol cases are really expensive, really hard to make, and the worst part is none of them are made in America so when you buy them from overseas the tarriffs are horrendous! /sarcasm
I understand, I have the addiction...and flash lights, everywhere...and batteries. Hey, for quite awhile you could get a 3 pack of 300 lumen lights, up to 1200 lumen lights for $20 to $40 at Costco. Some had issues, they were taken out of service, some are great. I've turned a few into weapons lights. I have some that I've had for plenty years. They seem to have stopped that practice.
18600 rechargeable batteries, then pick a light for those. https://www.batteryjunction.com/search?q=18600&productListPgNo=1
Or, get a Lithium Ion 1.5 v rechargeable battery (AA) careful tho - most AA rechargeable are 1.2 v which is not enough.
For my car, I use USB rechargeable flashlights. Figure, if I need one away from home, I'll have to keep it charged too. Maybe like on I-80, or Santiam Pass on I-5.
A little research tells me that Pelican Cases are made in Torrance California. I’ve used them for 30 plus years I guess at work and I don’t know of any that are better. I have some at home for pistols and one that’s perfect for my AR. Not a Cali fan but American through and through.
Looks potentially 'spensive.
ReplyDeleteIlluminating.
ReplyDeleteWhat a waste of a good pistol case.....

DeleteDang I thought i had a bunch. It is dark about half of the time
ReplyDeleteAt first glance, I thought they were bolts. One of them is very similar to the M16 I used to carry.

If one is none, two is one, and three are better, what do you call this? (though if I dug all mine out of all their hiding places I’d be close)
ReplyDeleteAlmost enough.
