  1. Very creative, but still lacking a good light for nighttime.

    1. Maybe it's a person who works the night shift and can only read during the daylight hours.

  2. instead of that sofa, howsa 'bouts "anything elst" - overstuffed or not. Whoever is sitting, especially in the middle or corner, is in a world of hurt trying to get up. My butt would be stuck below my knees!

  3. A.I. slop. How do you get to the books? Stand on the couch? How do you get to the stairs? Ditto. V. odd triangular top end table(?) on the left. Strange upside down plant on the right.

  4. Have you ever noticed how many of the "Comfortable Corner" pictures include books? Lots of books? What is it about so many books that seems to provide a sense of weight, of gravitas, of depth of soul with its accompanying peace? Almost as if the activity of reading would, within the confines of comfortable furniture, itself convey or impart a sense of comfort. Perhaps it's the inherent but attractive contrast--a very warm, fixed, comfortable geographic location coupled with a multitude of books that provides one instantaneous access to a thousand million different places -- something like traveling the universe while sitting in your best 'comfy chair'. Thank you, Mr. Curator. Well done.

  5. My wife and I have four rather large bookcases in the living room of our home in Colorado that are filled with books.
