ReplyDeleteSeveral years ago I set out a GoPro next to a bowl of black sunflower seeds that my daughter had been putting out on her porch railing to feed the locals. I got some really awesome footage.
Our son gave us one last year, diff model, and more than $100, which I thought was foolish.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, to make the vid last more than 10 mins we were required to pay for a monthly subscription even though the amazon ad said it wasn't necessary, which we didn't do.
What we found is the camera is too close to the subjects. On screen they are HUGE and look like a sci-fi film, not very entertaining. And it kept losing the wifi signal even though it was only about 20' from the router.
My sister got me one of those as a gift. It IS pretty neat... You can really watch the birds up-close. Great gift idea.
