  3. It just occurred to me, the reason for chairs on landings is for people who have to stop and rest while going up stairs.

    1. It’s the hotel Le Mount Stephen in Montreal. I think they took a grand home of long ago and then added a small skyscraper to the back of it.

  6. Hanmerbeam trusses. Love them. I want to know how they keep the wood and the windows so spotless. It’s 3 stories from the landing to the glass ceiling. And all the moulding… total dust collectors.
