This is a hand-carved wooden door at Balgonie Castle in Fife, Scotland. The intricate door features a large Celtic cross design and the Latin inscription "OMNIA DEUS BENEDICAT".
The castle was sold to the current owner, artist and craftsman Raymond Morris, in 1985.
Morris is a retired heraldic painter and wood carver, and the door is an example of his work within the castle.
The castle dates back to a 14th-century tower house and has been extensively restored by the Morris family.
The name Balgonie means "settlement of the smiths".
Beautiful celtic door. Ring the doorbell and see if a Redhead answers.
