And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Lookit all those guys enjoying the ride on the sail
Looks like they are doing a Full bell, and that bow wave looks amazing at night when there are phosphorescent plankton in the water. Stars above and stars below.
The guys on the sail look happy, but I think the guy who appears to be water skiing behind the sub might be happier.

DeleteSSN-595 is the USS Plunger, a Permit-class boat. Decommissioned in 1990, so this photo is old-ish.
