And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Reminds me of a trip to Tahiti I took 50 years ago, where the people were often big to start with and also often got very fat. Then they rode poor hard working little Honda 50 bikes.
He looks like a very happy kid. When my son was little, he wanted to eat donuts for breakfast. I said no. He said why not? I said because you'll grow up to be fat. A while later he said: "Dad, did you eat a lot of donuts when you were a kid?" True story. Kid is now a Veterinarian - a skinny one at that. As is dad - lost 100 lbs.
I started at 297 ended at 197 - my goal. I did it in a year by cutting out carbs and I ran two miles a day, everyday no matter what. Nothing feels as good as skinny.
