  1. After the Avanti, probably the 2nd nicest vehicle ever produced in this country.
    And, as Ol' Remus used to say, "You can drill and tap them fenders."

    2. Agreed. After long enough time (in our case, 41 years) spouses become major appendages of each other and when said appendage is removed for any reason it's devastating to what remains, sometimes fatally so.

    4. Remus ran the Woodpile Report every Tuesday. He died in Summer of 2020, a few months after his wife. The site is still up (http://www.woodpilereport.com/), but Remus didn't archive old posts. Some of his posts were archived by a good Samaritan at https://woodpilereport.lundissimo.info/html/index-556.htm.

  4. Gordon Buehrig designed that, along with a bunch of Duesenbergs and Auburns. Greatest vehicle designer/stylist of the century. Battista Farina 2nd place. Marcello Gandini 3rd.
