  1. She co-stared in a movie with Kirk Douglas and Anthon Quinn called 'Last Train from Gun Hill'. It's replayed often on cable. If you get a chance, watch it. If you didn't love Carolyn Jones before, you will after watching it. It was the part of a lifetime for her.
Her life was cut short by cancer.

    1. Indeed. I've seen that several times and that gurl is finer than bone china.

There's a scene in that flik where Kirk is on the 2nd floor of a hotel and knocks a dood out. He hoists that dood onto his shoulder, pulls his pistol out, then marches down the stairs and rounds up 4-5 ne'er do wells and locks them in a closet and continues to carry that dood down the street to the jail, which was unavailable, then to another hotel, all in one take. The dood he was carrying was Earl Holliman and not a small dood neither. Kirk Douglas was about as physical as it gets.

  5. Yvonne DeCarlo got all the attention, but Carolyn was the comedy horror show hottie of the day. Her, Barbara Eden, Elizabeth Montgomery, Ginger and Maryann, Donna Douglas, Barbara Feldon...good times for the TV watching adolescent.

  6. One of the three reasons I have a soft spot for Goth chicks.
The other two were Yvonne De Carlo and Cassandra Peterson.
