you have any idea how much all of those Weber carbs cost ? but they where the most tunable carbs ever made back then. the 2 barrels ones where over 200 a pop back in the 1970's funny thing, the S.U carbs came second if done right. most people had no idea how to tune them though.
I had a front engine dragster with a small block Mopar and it blew up in the lights. Covered me with oil and hot water but the fire suit, goggles, gloves, respirator, etc., kept me from getting burned. I held the wheel steady until I slowed the car and carefully lifted one side of the goggles to check if all the liquids had stopped flying and brought the car to a safe stop at the first turnoff. Wild ride.
I'm pretty sure that is a fuel-injection system, as each intake trumpet has an injector and I see no float bowls. The V12 upgraded from carburetors to Bosch D-Jetronic in 1975. Al_in_Ottawa
Nope not DCOE's, there would be an unmistakable wingnut and cover for the air and main jets and emulsion tubes. The one thing that Jag did in that engine was to use a central distributor. Made feeding the central 4 cylinders a nightmare. Electric fuel injection helped a lot.
My guess is those are PMOs - bodied to look like Webers, but are modern injectors. Also photo doesn’t show what to me would be low press fuel lines- but lots of small dia stuff looks like high press lines. Mech linkages are baffling. Need to see it in person!
There is a Rat Rod dually with a Jag V-12 that has a supercharger that is making the car shows right now. It puts on a big burnout show where the V-12 easily turns over the 4 rear tires.
