    4. Virga in the archaic forms refers to cirrus unincus. Today, virga refers to rain which evaporates before hitting the ground.

      Both used are correct.

      Somewhat unrelated, mares tails do signify rain is on the way.

  8. Escaped the former American state to the west of here at the end of the last century. Cochise county is not what yer lookin' for. Keep goin' ---it's way too crowded-------
