And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Ahhhhh! the 40's and 50's and 60's when every back yard mechanic was capable of engineering something like this. Everything from motorcycles to flour mixers to aeroplanes. Man what an era. Would have loved to listen to some of the postulations about "how to do it...".
Only yesterday, Mrs. azlib suggested some kind of butter churn in a large Mason jar. I looked it up on Amazon. This is a rather deluxe set, but it is also $87. I told her "No"....we'd find a way to mix up our heavy cream (as opposed to flour) with what we already have in the house.
You and me both. Coming Hot!
