And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Speakers are designed to need enclosures. Vacuum tubes have inherent nonlinearity and distortion. Never mind the cost or difficulty obtaining them today. The fidelity of a mechanical transducer trying to track wiggles in a piece of stamped plastic is, ah, debatable - on multiple counts. As is the need for two pickup arms. But it's a pretty collection, if your objective is looks rather than sound.
Though I. Might agree with you regarding the speakers (Might, as it's driver dependent), the sound quality from a tubed amo/pre-amo set.up will not be matched by anything digital or semiconductor. As for the wigglies ... yeah that too. No cd or digital coming closest a.good stamping and a.properly setup turntable.
