  1. Those era beemers where excellent handling cars. Buddy of mine refurbed them for his use, drove nothing else, he finally found a minor wrecked factory model with special suspension, gear box and hi-po engine, it was pretty darn fast, never drove it but got a few death rides, stuck to the road like a slot car. Raced him in my sisters Alpha coupe, all I could do to stay on his butt, thats with drifting out of the corners too. Great fun!

    1. Bimmer, beemers are the motorcycles, and beamers are idiots with bimmers driving in broad daylight with all the headlights on.

  3. Beauty car. Would like to see with original wheels and bumpers. Front air dam looks out of place.

    1. The front air dam is from the CSL 'Batmobile' racing version. The CSi could reach 137mph and had issues with front end 'floating' which could be cured by bolting on the CSL piece. At least it isn't the US spec diving board!

  4. I can't do a red interior. I bought a German spec 84 318i that was a year old off an Army helicopter pilot in 85 in Germany. The military shipped it back for me. It was black with the red interior. My wife drove it most of the time. It had 180k miles on it when I sold it where the guy I sold it to drove it until 2011.
