And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

The Twilight Zone - Season 5 Episode 35 (1964) “The Fear”
Rod Sterling was brilliant, special effects were also. The Outer Limits series was good to. Stopped watching Outer Limits when the show had a guy on his stomach and they put a creature on his back, he starts screaming as the film fades out. Turns out to be a crab.
my fav was similar. Where the little old lady was being harassed by mini spacemen and at the end it said "USA" on the spacecraft. Oh yes she squished them.
If giants were staring down at me through a window I might be scared as well :)
