And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Tried it once at an Asian restaurant. Bland and watery. It’s a huge bowl of noodles in thin chicken broth with a tiny amount of vegetables and even less meat.
Enjoy Pho, yes, it's a bit bland but that's where the greenery and other seasonings kick in. Downside to my enjoyment is that I easily wear more than I consume. Noodles defy any technique other than shovel'm down.
Got a Vietnamese restaurant just a short drive away. Their pho is wonderful. I always add ALL the veggies, eat the whole thing, drink the broth from the bowl, and yes, wear a good bit on my shirt. Pho won't replace Cajun gumbo in my life, but it's a soup worth looking for.
We eat it all the time around here...pho is made around beef broth, not chicken. Comes with sprouts and sliced hot peppers. We order it with the sliced raw beef which cooks in the broth.
Nho.
