Fly By at the speed of sound

  1. Maverick: Tower, this is Ghost Rider requesting a flyby.
Tower: That's a negative Ghost Rider, the pattern is full.
    Cue music: "The Danger Zone"

  3. As a little kid we lived near Hanscom Field, everything flew over, us kids loved it, remember sonic booms once in a while, but later, they got the F4 phantoms, usually in pairs, those guys would go on afterburner sometimes over the house real low, cause our back fence was Hansom's security fence, everything would shake like an earth quake, so loud there ain't words invented for it. With that tail and big ass noce they looked like some kind of beast from a sci-fi story.

  4. In the early 90's we lived about a driver and five iron from Eglin Field. The astronaut wannabe's would check out a jet (nod nod wink wink) to fly home on the weekend. They would stand them on tail over the parking lot and go supersonic straight up to see how many car alarms they could trigger. Good times.
