And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Your Good News of the Day: The 9th Circuit rules that the ban on possession of magazines that hold more than ten rounds of ammunition violates the 2nd Amendment.
I'm certain a petition for en banc review will be filed. Most likely it will be several years. Until then permission for rights will be required but not given. Screw 'em side ways with a cactus.
Remember those 110 federal judge appointments? This is what happens when the President quietly fills the existing vacancies on the appellate level with real judges and not Social Just-us Warriors. I didn't think we would see this significant a change this quickly!!Go Trump.
Our victories seem incremental at times, but they are still victories.

ReplyDeleteAlong with the petition for an en banc review, I'm certain there will be a request for an injunction to prevent the ruling from taking effect.
Delete(Can't let the peasants go buying those nuclear magazines in the meantime and not have Armageddon in the streets, thus proving the ban was bogus.)
