And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

A pilot with the Aeroshell Aerobatic Team spins his AT-6 Texan airplane in a cloud of smoke at the Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, Air Show, May 5, 2018. (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Sgt. Colin Broadstone)
Ask the Yarpies, the South African Air Force was very canny selling off their NAA Harvards only a few at a time, to keep the prices of them from lowering with a glut.
I'm holding out for a T-28C with the BIG engine. big stinkie smokin' growling, hammer from hell of a North American Aviation aircraft. With well set up flight controls and a working air/oil separator, they are almost as nice flying as a P-51. And they are built like brick shithouses in order to get aboard.
I need one

DeleteWent to the Cherry Point air show back in 2001. It was a great time. Sigh. I'm too old and too poor to make the 450 mile trek now.
