The damage looks more likely to have been from that sort of impact than from a near miss by AAA, and the ground below looks like it was the target area; any more background on the photo as to the fate of the airplane and its crew?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533651942397782565.post-18603187622107736752017-03-12T07:45:04.070-07:002017-03-12T07:45:04.070-07:00Like fine timepieces they are, tick tocking along ...Like fine timepieces they are, tick tocking along until hit with flak.c w swansonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02735507642689652780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533651942397782565.post-5068020627505123382017-03-12T07:33:49.180-07:002017-03-12T07:33:49.180-07:00Modern aircraft (with the exception of the Warthog...Modern aircraft (with the exception of the Warthog and the old B-52's) can't sustain that sort of battle damage...and are ruinously expensive.LLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05538854359365988863noreply@blogger.com
